Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive detailed check-in instructions through the Airbnb platform two days prior to your arrival. Looking for great local spots to eat, shop, or grab a coffee? I’d be happy to share my personal recommendations. This area is one of the most popular in the city - steps from George Brown College. Walk to the St. Lawrence Market, or jump on the streetcar and head to the Distillery District. Many great restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. What's great about this area is that it's a quiet area but you can be in the hustle and bustle within minutes. The Esplanade is great with a row of patio bars. The St. Lawrence market is also a great place where you can buy just about any kind of food. You are a 10 minute walk to the Eaton Centre on Yonge St. for great shopping. Great restaurants within walking distance. Walk to many great places in the King East area from this condo. Public transit is steps from the building. Jump on the King streetcar and be at the King subway station in less than 5 minutes. Take the subway to many other exciting areas of the city. Uber and Lyft are popular modes of transportation in the city as well. Feeling energetic? Bike Share Toronto bikes are just down the street - see Toronto by bicycle! ✅ A Few Helpful Notes for Your Stay To ensure everyone has a comfortable experience, I kindly ask that guests treat the space with the same care and respect as they would their own home. Out of consideration for my neighbours, please keep noise to a minimum—especially during evening hours. While you're welcome to relax and unwind, parties and events are not permitted. 🚫 This is a strictly non-smoking suite — that includes tobacco, cannabis, and vaping. The building enforces some of the most stringent no-smoking rules in the city. Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the balcony under any circumstances. Please note: The building does not issue warnings. A first-time violation results in an automatic $1,100 fine, which would be the guest’s responsibility. Unfortunately, past guests who attempted to bend the rules were caught quickly and fined. 🕚 Check-out time is 11:00 AM. 📋 After booking, you’ll need to complete a short guest registration form—it only takes a minute. Travel Tip: 🛬 Flying into Toronto Pearson International Airport? I highly recommend the UP Express train. It’s a smooth 25-minute ride to Union Station with free WiFi onboard. From there, it’s just a quick 10-minute Uber or taxi to the building—super convenient and a great way to skip city traffic! 🚗 If you require parking, you’ll find several public lots conveniently located nearby. That said, a car isn’t necessary to enjoy your stay — the neighbourhood is incredibly walkable, with countless shops, cafes, and attractions just steps away. Plus, public transit is nearby, making it easy to explore the city without the hassle of driving. 📦 Please note that the property is not set up to receive mail, packages, or courier deliveries for short-term rental guests. If you need to receive a package during your stay, you’re welcome to use a nearby Canada Post office or a Penguin Pickup location — both are convenient alternatives. 🍔 For food delivery services (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.), kindly meet your driver outside the main front entrance, as building access cannot be granted to delivery personnel. 🗓️ If you're planning an extended stay of 4 months or longer, feel free to reach out before booking. In some cases, I may be able to register you with the building to allow for mail and delivery access. 🧻 To help you settle in comfortably, we provide a starter supply of essentials at the beginning of your stay — including items like toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, dish pods, etc. Please note that we do not replenish these items during your stay. Should you need more, there are several nearby stores for easy restocking. 🚨 In the event of an emergency, dial 911 for police, fire, or ambulance services. The emergency exit route is through the front door and down the building’s stairwells. Please do not use the elevator during an emergency.
