Please note the back patio space is shared with long term tenants who live in the self-contained lower level. Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive detailed check-in instructions through the Airbnb platform two days prior to your arrival. Toronto's Wychwood neighbourhood is a largely quiet neighbourhood with a mix of low and mid-rise residential dwellings in the heart of Toronto that offers the best of both worlds: security, tree-lined streets, quaint local shops, restaurants, cafés, and access to all city attractions and more urban alcoves. The nearby Artscape Wychwood Barns farmer's markets on Saturdays is one of central Toronto's best kept secrets. Some of my favourite local spots are Sovereign (coffee, breakfast sandwiches), Casa Miento (papusas, tacos), De Mello (café), St Clair fruit market (bodega), Familiga Baldassara (pasta lunch specials 12-2pm W-F and take-away fresh pasta + sauces), Blood Brothers (microbrewery), Parallel (Middle Eastern), Farm Boy and Fiesta Farms (groceries). We are located in a cyclist's paradise with a bike score of 92! One-way streets and designated bike lanes make cycling a dream, even for those are new. City bikes are conveniently located all over, are affordable and easy to use through the app. Shaw street is Toronto's artery for biking! It is a 3-minute walk to the Ossington bus line which comes every 3-5 minutes. Toronto transit is known for being reliable; this bus goes directly to Ossington Station which connects you to the TTC subway system. The St Clair street car is a 10-min walk and Christie Station is a 20-min walk. 79 transit score. This location is walkable to many other Toronto neighbourhoods including Christie Pits Park, Bloor St West, St Clair West, Bloordale, Casa Loma and Geary St artist neighbourhood. 62 walkable score. If you are coming by car, Toronto city parking is available for a fee. We are happy to fill out the parking rental application form and print your permit. Please just request in advance of your stay. Parking fees are as follows: $25/24 hours, $35/48 hours, $55/1 week. 💰No Airbnb Service Fee When Booking My Place! I pay it for you! ✅ A Few Helpful Notes for Your Stay To ensure everyone has a comfortable experience, I kindly ask that guests treat the space with the same care and respect as they would their own home. Out of consideration for my neighbours, please keep noise to a minimum—especially during evening hours. While you're welcome to relax and unwind, parties and events are not permitted. 🚫 Please note that smoking, vaping, or the use of cannabis and tobacco is not allowed inside the home. There is a $1500 fine for this. 🕚 Check-out time is 11:00 AM. 📋 After booking, you’ll need to complete a short guest registration form—it only takes a minute. 🚗 The house does not have dedicated parking but there is paid street-permit parking and parking is free during the day from 8am-1159pm. The permit needs to be printed in advance, I can arrange this for you with 24hrs notice. 🧻 To help you settle in comfortably, we provide a starter supply of essentials at the beginning of your stay — including items like toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, dish pods, etc. Please note that we do not replenish these items during your stay. Should you need more, there are several nearby stores for easy restocking. This semi-detached home shares one wall with the neighbouring family and has a quiet basement tenant in a separate unit. Quiet hours will be maintained from 10pm-8am daily out of respect to our neighbours and tenants living in the lower level of the home. 2SLGBTQ+ owned and operated space. All are welcome, always. 🚨 In the event of an emergency, dial 911 for police, fire, or ambulance services. The emergency exit route is out the front door.
